Pushing the Envelope, Inc. (PTE), a strategic marketing communication firm based in Fort Myers, was recently recognized with three awards at the local Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Southwest Florida Chapter Image Awards ceremony. The firm has been honored with 63 awards, varying in types, from the Florida Public Relations Association since its inception 16 years ago.
Members of Pushing the Envelope were in attendance to receive the awards. For their work with the Hendry County School District’s Half-Cent Sales Tax referendum campaign, the team won a Judges’ Award and an Award of Distinction. In this campaign, PTE leveraged digital marketing, grassroots efforts, and public relations strategies to successfully build awareness of the need for additional funding to help get the half-cent sales tax referendum passed in the 2022 election.
A Judges’ Award was also presented to PTE for work with Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida, Inc., for their 2022 Hall of Fame. The team successfully initiated public relations and marketing strategies that resulted in surpassing fundraising goals. Once again, yielding an impressive return on investment with a minimal budget.
