Pushing the Envelope, Inc. Celebrates 9 Years, Announces New Push-It-Forward Grant

Southwest Florida Marketing and Public Relations Firm Celebrates Anniversary with Grant to Provide Services for Local Nonprofit

FORT MYERS, Fla. – February 3, 2015 – Pushing the Envelope, a locally based marketing communication firm is living up to their name, announcing their new grant, Push-It-Forward. Coinciding with the 9th anniversary of the business, the Push-It-Forward Grant will award 10 service hours to an eligible, nonprofit organization to fulfill a marketing or public relations need.

Pushing the Envelope will select a recipient based on the following criteria:

  • Organization – Must be a local, nonprofit (501c3 or 501c6) organization based in Lee, Collier and/or Charlotte County and serving predominately one or all three of these Counties
  • Need – The stated need for public relations/marketing services to better their organization
  • Proposed Use – ideally, how would the organization use this time/service (project, campaign, etc.)
  • Timeliness/Urgency – The need for the project to be addressed within the calendar year
  • Scope – The ability to address the project/ need within the allotted hours

    • “We created this grant as a celebration of where we’ve come from and in appreciation of those who helped pave the way,” commented Samantha Scott, APR, President and Co-Founder. “We’re excited to use our skills and talents to give back just a little of what has been given to us and help others in the community.”

    Through the company’s Push-It-Forward program, PTE has been active in volunteering, raising funds and donations, as well as other charitable efforts. The Push-It-Forward Grant is the company’s newest effort to positively impact Southwest Florida.

    Applications are now being accepted. To apply, nonprofits can download an application HERE. The deadline to submit an application is March 1, 2015. The recipient will be announced publicly on March 9, 2015.
